At La Grande Vallée campsite in La Tranche sur Mer, you can take advantage of all our services.
Bar & snack bar
Enjoy a refreshment or snack at the campsite bar/snack bar. This snack bar is open from mid-May to mid-September. So you can relax with a cold drink, cocktail, hot beverage, ice cream to go, or a bowl of ice cream to enjoy on the spot.
Enjoy the sunny Zen terrace with exotic plants. You’ll be able to keep an eye on children at the playground.
You can order French fries, pizzas, aperitif platters and even mussels and fries (once a week) from the snack bar, on the spot or to take away. Open every day except Monday.
Playground
During your stay, children can take advantage of the campsite’s playground. All day long, you can accompany them for a few moments of fun on the slide, the swings and the ping-pong table.
Children must be supervised by an adult.
Security
Entrance to the campsite is via a gate. Closed from 11:00 pm to 7:30 am. During this time, access to the campsite is on foot only, using a badge which will be given to you on arrival (deposit 20€).
Visitors from outside the campsite are allowed only after checking in at reception during opening hours.
Sanitary and laundry facilities
For your convenience, we offer washrooms and laundry facilities.
Whether you’re staying in a pitch or in accommodation, the launderette is accessible with tokens, on sale at reception. Two washing machines, a tumble dryer and a laundry bin are at your disposal.
The sanitary facilities are also accessible every day. You’ll find individual or shared WCs, showers, washbasins, a PRM washroom, dishwashing bins, laundry bins, a baby bath and urinals.
An emptying platform is available for motorhomes. You can borrow a cart to move your cassette.
Bike rental
In Vendée, the Vélodyssée awaits you with its network of cycle paths. Running the length and breadth of the département, these trails take in the marshes, forests, countryside and various beaches.
At La Tranche sur Mer, 40 kilometers of cycle paths are at your disposal. From the campsite, you can cycle to La Tranche sur Mer or La Faute sur Mer. For a day trip, an hour’s stroll or a trip to the beach, they’re ideal.
You can rent your bike directly from the campsite.
Nearby
At the campsite exit, you’ll find a grocery store and a bread depot. They are open every day. And nearby, you’ll find all the local shops you need.
There’s a bakery just 2 kilometers from the campsite, in the La Grière plage area, where you can pick up a warm loaf of bread or pastries for breakfast. In this area you’ll also find a butcher’s shop, a restaurant, a tobacconist’s, boutiques, a grocer’s, a fishmonger’s and a greengrocer’s. You’ll have the opportunity to eat locally during your stay.
You can also visit the nearby SPAR supermarket for last-minute shopping. It’s just 250 meters from your mobile home or pitch.
You’ll also be close to the beach snack bar, 700 m away, and to La Cabane restaurant, which is well known and appreciated in La Tranche sur Mer.
Fun bus
In July and August, a free bus takes you all over La Tranche sur Mer
6 transport lines + 2 night lines running until midnight.
Equipment loans and rentals
At reception, we can lend you snowshoes, books, an iron and ironing board, card games and tourist information. We also sell ping-pong balls, and regional products such as wines and aperitifs.
We can rent out equipment such as baby chairs, cots, charcoal barbecues and bicycles for your week-long vacation.
WIFI is available throughout the campsite. Rates are available at reception.
If you’re staying in a spa mobile home or XXL pitch, it’s included in your package.
Electric charging station for your vehicle
A charging station for electric vehicles is located at the campsite entrance.
Recharging on pitches is strictly forbidden.
For children
Make the most of your family vacation by finding activities for your children. You can test :
- The Floralies park, with its 8 hectares of forest; here you will find enclosures with farm animals, games for children and the possibility of a pony ride.
- The micro-crèche, for a few hours or a whole day
- Leisure center: manual activities, sports and outings on the programme
- The toy library: 1,100 board games, learning games, car games and construction games for family fun.
