During your stay at camping La Grande Vallée, you can take advantage of the superb sandy beaches. La Tranche sur Mer has 14.7 km of beach.
You can get there on foot or by bike, thanks to the many cycle paths surrounding the campsite.

La Plage de la Porte des îles
This is the nearest beach to the campsite. It’s just 700m from the Grande Vallée. It’s easy to get to on foot or by bike.
The beach is supervised from June 29 to September 1, from 1:00 pm to 7:00 pm.
You’ll find a snack bar, WCs and you can even rent nautical equipment.
Dogs on a leash are permitted outside the supervised areas.
Les Rouillères Beach
You’ll be lucky enough to be right next to Les Rouillères beach. With your towel under your arm, parasol and sun cream, you can walk to the beach.
Put down your towel for a lazy afternoon under the Vendée sun.


La Plage de la Belle Henriette
Located a little further south of La Tranche sur Mer, Plage de la Belle Henriette is a veritable little corner of paradise. This unspoilt environment promises 100% relaxation. Thanks to its 3 km length, you’re bound to find a little square where you can lay your towel.
Saint Anne beach
Located close to Les Rouillères beach, which is supervised in high season. This small beach is ideal for an afternoon out with the family.
Accessible to people with reduced mobility.
The little extra is nearby parking.


The central beach
This is La Tranche sur Mer’s must-see beach. It is located in the heart of the city center. Take a stroll down the avenue de la plage, where all the stores are located, and you’ll find yourself with your feet in the sand. Located in the center of town, it’s La Tranche sur Mer’s busiest beach.
