Nature discovery
For the rest of the day, we take you to the heart of the Baie de l’Aiguillon Nature Reserve.
It’s a 36-minute drive from the campsite. We advise you to turn back to the Grande Vallée after lunch and take your car.
Along the way, you’ll admire some breathtaking scenery, but be patient, you haven’t seen everything.
Many species of migratory birds live here in their natural state. You can watch them for a long time. Bring binoculars. You can observe them while respecting their peace and quiet.
All around the reserve, trails have been laid out to give you a bird’s eye view. To guide you on your walk, information panels will help you learn more about the species, flora and fauna.
Herons, avocets, flamingos and many other bird species can be observed in their natural habitat.
Every Tuesday and Thursday morning, members of the association organize regular tours of the bay.
These volunteers will be delighted to share their knowledge and passion for this ecosystem with you.
After this fun tour, it’s time to head back to the campsite. You’re sure to get a real kick out of it, and all you’ll want to do is sit back and relax on your spot.
You can count on the peace and quiet of the Grande Vallée for a relaxing evening.
